The Nebari Group was founded in 2026 by Scott Preble. Scott graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture. During his time there, the University of Georgia’s Landscape Architecture was top ranked in the country. The program offered a variety of disciplines, but Scott found his real passion was in residential designs. After graduation in 2009, the economy was in a slump leaving the job market limited and challenging. While helping the family company, he landed a project manager role at Pike Nurseries with the Landscape Design/Build division. During these two years at Pike Nurseries, he was onsite everyday with crews learning plant layout, drainage, hardscapes, etc. This was the foundation for him to build on. In 2011 after a year long apprenticeship under a Landscape Architect, he passed the challenging Registered Landscape Architecture exam to become a Professional Landscape Architect.

He went out on his own for 2 years starting his own Landscape Design and Build company Blue Ridge Ecosystems. While Blue Ridge Ecosystems was steadily growing, the family company needed Scott’s expertise more and more. While working for the family company, he continued designing as it was one of his passions.

In 2025, Scott was introduced to a new 3D modeling program, Structure Studios. This program is mainly used by pool contractors to show clients their rough proposed pool. The vast library of plants and endless details that can be implemented, made this program a playground for Scott to create beautiful designs for outdoor living areas, pools and landscape. This gives him the ability to perfect a design by fine tuning design elements which were previously cumbersome and time consuming using hand graphics. This software gave Scott the tools to take his designs to the next level and give clients an actual representation of the vision!
